Why "Chameli"?
Chameli is the Hindi and Urdu word for jasmine, the small white flower strung into garlands, tucked into hair and offered at temples across India, and in Kerala especially. It's the scent of evenings, of weddings and of home for many of the people who live and work in the Gulf. We chose it because the spa is built around the warm-oil massages many of those people grew up with.
What does Chameli Spa specialise in?
Kerala and Indian massage. Many spas offer a long menu and do everything a little; we decided to be clear about what we are best known for. Kerala massage is slow, generous with warm oil and rhythmic. Indian massage is brisker and finishes with the head and shoulders. Around them sit seven more techniques, from Thai to the Moroccan bath, for when you want something different.
Who is Chameli Spa for?
Adult men. The spa is men-only and serves guests aged 18 and over. Our guests are a cross-section of the northern emirates: workers finishing late shifts, office staff from Ajman and Sharjah, drivers, gym-goers, and plenty of regulars from Kerala and the wider south Indian community who want a massage the way it's done back home.
Where is Chameli Spa?
On the 2nd floor near Falcon Towers on Al Ittihad Street, in Al Rashidiya 2, Ajman. That's in the south-west of Ajman, on the Sharjah side of the city, which makes it a practical stop for people coming from Al Nahda and the Sharjah border. There's no branch anywhere else. Directions: getting to Al Rashidiya.
How a visit works

- Arrive a few minutes early; reception confirms your choice and any allergies.
- Change into the shorts provided in a private treatment room.
- Your therapist checks pressure and any areas to avoid, then begins.
- Shower if you like, dress, pay at reception.

We don't promise cures: massage isn't a medical treatment, and our pages separate what traditions say from what research supports. We don't publish star ratings or awards we can't show you, and we don't publish testimonials on our own site.
